Join us for a hands-on Sauerkraut Masterclass with the one and only Curt Vangstad—aka the Sauerkraut King and Horseradish Whisperer! Alongside his trusty sidekick, Mike, Curt will guide you through every step of the fermentation process, empowering you to make delicious, probiotic-rich sauerkraut right in your own kitchen.
Special Guests! We are fortunate enough to have Curt's nephews, Jonathan and Peder Vangstad, joining us! Jonathan and Peder are the heirs to all of the sauerkraut equipment passed down by their late grandmother, Laura. The boys have taken over the family sauerkraut business where they process about 400 pounds of winter cabbage every year producing 185-quart jars to share with friends and family! They are ready to put on a show for you!
After the workshop, sit back and enjoy a mouthwatering meal prepared by Chef Randy and his wife, Beth, featuring fresh sauerkraut and a selection of tasty appetizers.
