Olsen Vineyards, Block 23,  located in the Yakima Valley AVA, provided us with exceptional grapes to create an amazing Port Style Dessert Wine.  I believe that Port wine captures a moment in time.  It allows our customers to taste the flavors I tasted that day in October, when I stopped the fermentation by adding Brandy spirits to the fermenter.  The nose has sweet, ripe fruit preserves of blackberry and blueberry. Thereare also concentrated notes of dried fruit, mainly fig. On the palate are notes of caramel and praline.
