2017 WIT Cellars Malbec, Northridge Vineyard
The feast of reason and the flow of soul brought us to the Wahluke slope, to source Malbec from the famed Northridge Vineyard. This expressive and fruit driving gem possesses soft tannins and supple texture. To the Native Americans, Wahluke meant gathering place that was hard to find. To me it signifies elusive perfection from grapes grown there.
Winemaker notes: The first thing you'll notice is the intense color, while being greeted with bright cherries and pmegranate in the nose. As your senses dig deeper into the glass, you'll find warm spices, and toasted walnuts. Our WIT Malbec can be described as juicy, with a luscious and long finish.
Pairing: Star anise and toasted coconut dark chocolate truffles
